A single sheet of 11 x 14 inch, high-quality, handmade Abaca paper - an antique tan style fine art paper with deckled edges on all sides.
Abaca is a fiber from a banana tree, also called Manila hemp. It is traditionally used for rope making, and makes excellent paper. This paper is tan in color, with small strands of visible fiber. It is very strong and tear resistant. This is one of my most popular papers for drawing and writing. Natural, soft deckle edges on all four sides. Internally sized and buffered.
This paper accepts pen, pencil, charcoal and wet media, and works for most printmaking processes. The color is dark enough to show many white media, making it great for two-tone drawings or prints.
