New! Instant Download now available on all individually purchased patterns(Meaning not part of one of my pattern bundles). Pearls Pinny a women's apron pattern by Little Bird Lane. This pattern is for a reproduction 1930's feedsack style kitchen or work apron. It requires just one yard of fabric and can be made in 2 sizes. Misses average small/med and misses large/x-large. I modeled my pattern after authentic feedsack fabric aprons of the 1930's and 1940's from estate and antique store finds. This is a digital file PDF pattern with printable pattern pages, photos and complete instructions. Simply print the actual pattern pages on regular 8.5 x 11 paper. Tape them together and follow the instructions. This item is sewn with a regular sewing machine. Pearls Pinny is very quick and easy to make. It makes a very nice gift or craft fair item. Adorable made with vintage fabrics and linens or vintage reproduction fabrics.

I try to get all patterns to your email the same day of purchase or at most within 24 to 48 hours. I am always willing to resend the pattern if it does not arrive in your inbox on the first try or if you need the file resent at a later date. Just send a message through Etsy and I'll get it resent.. You will need a pdf reader program to view this file.

You will need 1 yard of fabric, folded on the bias and 9 yards of 1/4" wide double fold bias trim. If you only trim the tops of the pockets with bias trim, then you will only need 8 yards of 1/4" wide double fold bias trim.

*In addition to fabric, you will need basic sewing tools and supplies. Understanding of basic sewing skills. A little practice and experience with easy projects, knowledge of basic sewing terms. PDF reader program installed on computer, printer to print pattern pages. Wax paper or parchment paper to make copies of the pattern in assorted sizes if desired, markers. Sewing machine and or serger/overlocker, knowledge of clothing seam finishes using the machines you own. Scissors, measuring tape, thread etc...Plush toys or dolls will not require the use of a serger/overlocker and for most clothing it is handy, but optional.

** Regarding pattern printing, there is no need to print the entire PDF file. You only need to print out the actual pattern pages and keep the instructions on the computer to read as needed.

I wanted an apron that keeps me from wearing what I'm cooking and look good too. This reminds me of one my grandmother had and I loved it so now I have fulfilled two points, keeps my clothes clean and reminds of my grandmother. A keeper for sure!
