What You Need
Here’s what you’ll need to make this cutie. . .
1/2 yd. pink fleece fabric (I love using Cuddle Fleece)
2 9mm safety eyes
elastic for her curly tail
plastic pellets for filling (I like Fairfield Poly Pellets)
polyester fiberfill (I love Fairfield brand Soft Touch Polyfil Supreme)
sewing machine, thread, basic sewing tools
I used the shaggier side of the fleece for most of Nellie, with accents of the smoother side inside her ears and on the end of her snout.
It’s a nice subtle difference in person, but you might not be able to see it in the photo. It’s fun to mix and match!
Super easy! This is a great pattern for beginners, and an easy and fun project for more experienced sewists.
She’s about 10 inches tall and about 10 inches wide. That’s an excellent size for hugging.
After your purchase you’ll receive an email allowing you to download the pattern instantly. Your very own Nellie could be snuggling up in your lap very soon. . . :-)
