Turn your pre-loved books into re-loved art & gifts.

This listing is for 3 book folding patterns in 1 to fold MR & MRS into either 1 or 3 hardback books to create an artistic addition as a gift. You can even sell the finished folded book.

***This is perfect for the happy couple on their wedding day, on the top table or as a gift***

The patterns are colour coded, follow the blue columns to fold into 1 book, or change to the pink columns for books 2 and 3 if you're folding into 3 books.

In 1 book you'll need 632 pages, so that’s 312 sheets (known as foldable sheets).
In 3 books you'll need 214 pages (107 foldable), 144 pages (72 foldable) and 274 pages (137 foldable).

The pattern has been created for book(s) height of 20 cms (excluding the covers) but it can be folded into a taller book, it’ll just leave you a little extra space below the image, for wider ribbon maybe. This patterns creates a beautiful image on the top of the book too.

All of my patterns are measure & mark, the most popular method to create folded book art. All of my patterns are also tried & tested, you won’t encounter a ‘bad pattern’ here, the photo shows you exactly what your book will look like, providing you follow the pattern correctly of course.

Your pattern is downloadable as a pdf file as soon as your payment is confirmed. You’ll need a program that can open & print pdf files of course (Adobe Reader is free of charge & perfect for this).

Book folding is a fascinating hobby, so easy to mark out and fold as and when you have some spare time. It doesn’t need to be done all in one ‘sitting’. Mark a few pages on the train, fold a few pages in your lunch break, it’s easy to do but looks so unique. All you need is a hardback book, a ruler & a pencil, that’s it. Some people decorate the covers of their books, others fold an image relating to the title of the book, the possibilities are endless.

To find instructions on how to fold, there is a very good guide on Instructables here

I also undertake commissioned patterns on an untested basis at the reduce cost of £2.50 per pattern. Get your thinking cap on & request something unique by emailing me at patternsforpages [!at] or ask a question using the button above to the right.
