Shipping & policies
Our standard shipping policy usually covers most customers' needs. We ship primarily through the United States Postal Service. We prefer using Priority Mail for fast delivery and tracking updates. If you choose a First Class option your cutters may take an extra day or two and USPS does not provide tracking on First Class service. If you need an expedited option it is best to send me a message through Etsy or via email, email@example.com to make special arrangements. We can ship most items within one business day of a completed order. If for some reason we cannot, you will be notified of the delay through Etsy. Shipping insurance may be added to large orders or for international shipping. Etsy will send you a confirmation email once your items are ready to ship. We use USPS Priority Mail International for all international orders. International shipping rates do not include any extra customs or duties that may apply after the order is complete. As these rates vary by location please check with your local postal service to inquire about additional charges.
The Haven Cookie Co accepts all Etsy approved payment sources including Etsy gift cards. All custom orders must be paid in full prior to beginning work. We ship from Utah so all applicable state taxes will be applied. We ship most non-custom orders within one business day of the order. Cancellations are not accepted once an order ships. All sales are final, so please read and follow the care instructions for the cutters. See our refund policy for our satisfaction guarantee.
Returns & exchanges
We want all of our customers to be 100% satisfied. We make high-quality 3D printed cookie cutters. The cutter you receive will be the same size and shape that is described and shown in the product image, though color may vary. If you have any issue with the cutters you receive, contact us immediately at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 801.920.9011. If we have made a mistake, we will replace the cutter with the correct one, however, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or give refunds.
Note: Please read all care instructions to avoid any damage to your cutters. The cutters are made from a material that cannot tolerate high temperatures. Exposing the cutters to HOT water or environment (leaving them in your car or near your oven) will cause the cutters to warp. Cutters damaged due to improper care are not subject to our replacement policy.
All cutters are hand-wash only, NOT DISHWASHER SAFE. Please DO NOT SOAK IN HOT WATER. PLA becomes soft and pliable when heated. Cutters may be washed in warm water with mild soap. Avoid prolonged exposure to heat or moisture. Do not cut HOT cookies with the cutters. Do not store in direct sunlight, or in your vehicle; doing so will warp your cutters.
All cutters are made of poly lactic acid (PLA), which is a biodegradable thermoplastic polyester derived from renewable resources such as corn starch. The PLA filament passes through the heated extruder of the 3D printer (referred to as “the Maker”) to be laid down in a two-dimensional pattern that is then built up, layer by layer.
