This fellow roams the paths of Wonderland, singing of the sagas of Alice, The Queen of Hearts and so many more who color the history there. One of Wonderland's most notorious residents is even seeping his way into the scene, as he loves to hear a good lyrical reference to himself now and again.
The pincushion/figurine is about 5.5 inches tall and 5 inches wide at its extreme points. The colors are amazing, and are what pushed me into the Wonderland theme to begin with. There are a few scuffs in the finish on the edge of his hat, which I feel add to his Sings-for-His-Supper allure. The handknit pincushion, and its tail, are in a nice Cheshire Cat stripe, and the tail is glued to the base of the ceramic. It covers an area that for some reason did not get glazed. The dish in front is about 4 inches long by 1.5 inches wide and is perfect for small sewing notions, like sewing scissors and bobbins. And it is accented with a lovely art nouveau flower, really a lovely touch of pink, against all that green. The Cheshire Cat smile pin is made of polymer clay and painted by me. The pincushion comes with the 4 pins that are shown.
