Vintage Circa 1969 MARKWELL Tacker / Stapler, New in Box W/(10cent extra) Instruction Booklet & Parts Diagram, Made in the USA. What You're looking at is a 1969 Markwell "The Blue Tacker" Model "L3" SO NEW in it's original box that we had to wipe the film of cosmoline off of the logo on the side before taking a picture of the model number identification on the left side(!); It has Literally Never Had a Staple placed in it.

Now, if You want to know what happened to "Markwell Manufacturing Company at 624 W.33rd Street, in New York City", check out: http://mrkwll.com/history/history.html
FYI, if You wanted to use this, All Bostich staples will work in this model if You so choose to use this vintage 'unfired' stapler. (& in case You didn't check out the link, the company is still in business, located at: http://www.markwellusa.com/

Besides the pictured original box, operating instructions and parts list for repair, there's also a (priced at 10 cents...I know, I was a kid then, 10 cents went a long way in those days and would buy You a bottled soda including a nickel for the returnable [long before the 'novel' concept of 'recycling'] bottle! Full sized candy bars [another staple of life for pre-teens in that era] was the same price) handout/insert titled: "The Tacking Tipster".

Everything is included as photographed and we have plenty more pictures, please don't hesitate to email and ask; Just please be patient after doing so as we do check and respond to email daily, just not hourly.

shipping will be a flat rate $7.50 to anywhere in the 50 states, including packing it all (paperwork goes in ziplock baggies, stapler gets wrapped separately box goes in baggies too, so it hopefully winds up at You, the way it left You know who! We seriously take pride in our packing and shipping efforts, knowing what the shippers have done to some of our received items previously) like we were shipping to ourselves, for an around the world trek.

Any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask, we doubt there are too many of these left out there from 1969, in the original box, w/additional paperwork, brand spanking new? The new (yep, they still make this exact model today and You can buy one made with today's metals and construction techniques) is $47.25 at the noted website above. Ours is $34.88, including the vintage "everything" from 1969.

If You found this item interesting, You should favorite our shop as we're going to be listing thousands of dollars worth of vintage tools, marine salvage, nautical supplies, antiques, repurposed and collectible items...keep an eye on Us, You'll be glad You did!
Thanks in advance for Your future business,
