This is a vintage Simplicity pattern #3988 from, I believe, the 1950s for a girl's robe. The pattern features a girl's robe in two lengths. Robe, both views, has large patch pockets and contrasting bias fold tape trim. View 1: The long robe is featured in quilted fabrics. The long sleeves have turn back cuffs. A tie belt slips through belt carriers. View 2: the short robe has a peter pan collar and short sleeves with turn back cuffs. The right front edge is scalloped. Pockets have flaps. Buttons close entire front. Size 8, breast 26", waist 23", hip 28". The pattern is complete with all pieces and directions in uncut condition and in the original factory folds.
