Item details

These 2" x 2" foam squares are terrific for cleaning and polishing finished jewelry or metal pieces you are creating. They have a very fine grit as well as polish to bring your pieces to a mirror shine! You can shine a little or shine a lot! If you are oxidizing and want to clean and shine just the raised parts, these are perfect for the task. Both sides can be used. When they turn completely gray throw them away. Use them only on dry pieces...they turn qooey when wet. This listing is for a quantity of five.

Need more than 5 pieces? Check out my listing for 10 pro polish pads: https://www.etsystudio.com/listing/81618525/10-pro-polish-pads-to-clean-and-polish?ref=shop_home_active_40

Priority Mail is $6.00 flat rate for all the box will hold. I like shipping by Priority Mail; it's a 3-day maximum delivery time-excluding Sundays. PLEASE CONTACT ME PROIR TO PAYMENT IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO CHANGE YOUR SHIPPING FROM USPS FIRST CLASS TO PRIORITY MAIL. USPS First Class shipping will be $3 for the first item, then $.50 for each item thereafter. If the shipping total goes up to $5, I will just pack everything in the Priority Mail box or envelope and upgrade you to a 3-day maximum delivery time frame. Shipping charges are nonrefundable.

COMBINED SHIPPING-Combined shipping is addressed in the above paragraph. If you are unsure about my combined shipping be sure to contact me BEFORE payment.

CARE & STORAGE OF YOUR NEW JEWELRY-Sterling silver jewelry is best kept in a sealed, zipper-locked plastic bag. I keep all my unsold sterling jewelry in plastic tackle boxes that I buy from a local sporting goods store. They have compartments that help keep the jewelry clean, organized and easy to find.

CLEANING YOUR JEWELRY-NEVER dip any of your pieces in liquid jewelry cleaner. Some can actually harm your gemstones. It is best to use a treated jewelry cleaning cloth.

REPAIRS-I take pride in every piece of jewelry that I make. If you experience any problem with a piece you have purchased please contact me, and I will work with you to resolve the problem.

CUSTOM ORDERS-Custom orders are always welcome. Sorry NO refunds on custom orders.

AFRICAN TRADE BEADS-Made by the Venetians in the early 1800 & 1900's, these amazingly intricate beads were used in trade with Africa. These millefiori (meaning "many flowers" or "many eyes") beads are between 100 & 200 years old.

ANTIQUE TIBETAN BEADS-These antique beads are made of Amber, Carnelian, Turquoise, Coral & Naga shell using highly decorated caps of traditional Tibetan sterling or brass. Most of these beads are over 200 years old, & are very rare, with limited quantities available. The Amber is prehistoric, solidified tree sap. It is 50 million years old! The Amber beads were carved well over 200 years ago. The Naga shell beads were traded to Tibet over 100 years ago. Carnelian is no longer mined in Tibet. It is also at least 100 years old.

HILL TRIBE SILVER-From the hills of Thailand, the people of the Karen Tribe hand craft pendants & beads. These stunningly simple designs are made from 97-99% pure silver.

ANCIENT ROMAN GLASS-These ancient glass pieces are more than 2150 years old, which dates their origins back to 350-150 B.C. They were found in the area of the Bactrian Kingdom (once part of the Roman Empire) which is located in North Central Asia. These glass pieces were once beads, bottles, jars, cups, vases, perfume containers, & decorative tiles. Over the passage of time, while being buried, this glass broke into pieces & began to collect deposits from the minerals of the earth which formed layers of unique colors known as patina.

RAINBOW CALSILICA-There is quite a controversy surrounding this rainbow-colored stone from Mexico. No one is quite sure if it is natural or man-made. Either way, it is a wonderful lapidary stone and makes very interesting jewelry. Calsilica is composed of calcite allophane clay and has been stabilized with the same process used on almost all modern turquoise.

CHRYSANTHEMUM STONE-Chrysanthemum stone, nicknamed Stone of Wealth and Honor, was shaped over 200 million years ago. It is found in the rock of the bottom of Daxi River in Yonge town, Liu Yang city, Hunan province. This smooth black limestone contains a matrix of white bladed crystals of calcite and/or alusite. The natural bursting patterns look like chrysanthemum flowers as well as many other abstract designs. This stone was first excavated and carved in the early Qing Dynasty. In 1915, China exhibited one chrysanthemum stone in the International Expo held in Panama. It gained the golden prize and obtained the title of-First in the World. There is only a small quantity of this great stone; thus, it is very rare and valuable.

VARISCITE-Variscite is a relatively rare phosphate mineral. It is a secondary mineral formed by direct deposition from phosphate-bearing water that has reacted with aluminium-rich rocks in a near-surface environment. Variscite often contains white veins of the calcium aluminium phosphate mineral crandalite. It was first described in 1837 and named for the type locality of Variscia, the historical name of Vogtland in Germany. It is also found in Utah, Nevada, Australia, Poland, Spain, and Brazil. Variscite is also know as Aqua Terra Jasper and Sea Sediment.
