It's been about a year since I ran my first Disney race, and let me tell you - it's addicting! Now I've got six Disney races under my belt, and they just get better and better. The only thing that makes it more fun? Running in costume!
For the Tinkerbell Half Marathon, my parents decided to dress as Tink and her sister, Periwinkle. As a crowning touch, they needed some li'l poms on their shoes! Enter these sweet babies - big fat pom-poms, sparkly of course, with ribbon ties to attach them to your laces. Golden!
These poms are made of white yarn. Perfect for a unique running costume, or just a fun accent! They are modeled after Tinkerbell's fairy poms on her shoes, but could also pass as clown shoes, or just to add a little "bounce" to your step! I can make these in just about ANY color, as long as that shade of yarn exists! Convo me if you need something specific to match your outfit! I also can get a variety of variegated or "rainbow" yarns - perfect for pride parades, etc!
I recommend threading them through several laces (shown in last picture) and tying them in a pretty sturdy double knot. Sometimes they'll flop around, but they'll stay put - my parents' poms went through all 13.1 miles of the Tinkerbell Half, and all four poms made it in tact! These are that perfect "final touch" to your Tink costume, or any of your racing-fairy needs!
