Item details

Mosaic Endless Knot is a patchwork block featuring a common form of the ancient symbol known as the endless knot or eternal knot. There are many interpretations of the symbol’s meaning. One suggests that it signifies the intertwining of wisdom and compassion. Focusing on this understanding of the symbol, I designed the Mosaic Endless Knot block to emphasize the two heart-shaped sections of the knot (symbolizing compassion) and the two sections of the knot that could be said to resemble eyes (symbolizing wisdom).

The inner block can be strip-pieced and measures 13½ inches square when finished. After the inner block is set on point and corner triangles are added to complete the background, the final finished block measures approximately 19 inches square. This 6-page PDF pattern includes many colored diagrams, detailed instructions and a chart of pieces needed for each block.

When you purchase this pattern, you will also receive my free 5-page PDF tool for calculating yardage, shown in the last product image. This Yardage Calculator will not only guide you in determining your yardage requirements, but it will also guide you in cutting pieces for your quilt from strips. You can use this tool with any quilt pattern, not just with my designs.
