This one inch thick slice of myrtle is about 7 inches by 4 1/2 inches. It would be perfect for a cheese tray serving board or a hot dish trivet. A finish on this raw wood would make the grain pop. It's unfinished and ready for any project. I've also seen these used for wall plaques. Myrtle wood is a hard wood that grows only in coastal Oregon and the Holy Land. It's also referred to as pepper wood, laurel and bay laurel.
