Q: Where can I use my embosser?
A: You can use your embosser to personalize your product packaging, wedding stationery, envelopes, napkins, corporate documents and letters, certificates and scrolls, books, and your everyday correspondences and greeting cards.
Q: What types of paper can I use with my embosser?
A: You can use your embosser on paper weight up to 180 gsm.
Q: How do I use my embosser?
Step 1 : Unlock the side locking mechanism by pushing it to the left
Step 2: Lift the handle
Step 3: Remove the design insert from the back of the device.
4) Squeeze the design insert plates together and slide it into the device, making sure that the part marked UP - SIDE is facing upward. Continue pushing the plate in until you feel a click, indicating that the plate is in position.
Q: How do I make an impression on paper?
A: Insert paper between the plates and squeeze (if held in hand) or push down on the handle (if used on a desk). Thicker paper requires more pressure. It is best to use one sheet of paper at a time.
USING YOUR STAMP
We recommend the following guidelines to create even, clean impressions:
1. It is important to stamp on a clean, dry, flat, hard surface (ex. table or desk). This will ensure a clear and even impression.
2. Separate the item (ex. note card, sticker, envelope, tag) from the stack before stamping. Stamp a single layer at a time.
3. For envelopes, it is best to stamp them before you stuff them.
4. Keep the stamp steady. Do not rock the stamp, as this may result in an uneven impression or unwanted marks.
6. Stamping on textured paper is possible, but it may not result in a perfectly even impression.
USING YOUR WAX SEAL
Q: Where can I use my wax seal stamp?
A: Your wax seal makes a beautiful and personalized accent for your product packaging, wedding stationery, corporate documents and letters, certificates and scrolls, and your everyday correspondences.
Q: How do I use my wax seal stamp and glue gun wax?
Step 1 : Insert 2 sticks of sealing wax into a low-temperature standard size glue gun. You will need one stick to push out the other.
Step 2 : Heat up the glue gun with the wax inserted for about 5 minutes.
Step 3 : Moisten your stamp on a damp paper tower to prevent the wax from sticking to your stamp.
Step 4 : Pull the trigger to release the desired amount of wax onto your project and wait 5 to 10 seconds. One pull should suffice for a 30mm wax seal stamp, and half a pull for a 25mm stamp.
Step 5: Make sure the stamp is facing in the correct direction. Press down on the hot wax.
Step 6: Let the stamp set for a few seconds before lifting it from the wax.
*If you find the stamp stuck to the wax, let it rest until the wax has cooled. You should then be able to easily release your stamp from the wax.
ABOUT OUR SEALING WAX
Q: How many seals can I make with a stick of sealing wax?
A: You can make around 6 - 8 seals with a stick of sealing wax, when used with our 30mm wax seal stamp. Create around 10 seals per stick when used with our 25mm stamp.
Q: What are the benefits of using our sealing wax with a glue gun?
A: Our glue gun wax is flexible and mailable. You can make seals easier and faster than a traditional sealing wax. You can even make large batches of seals to use later.
Q: How can I make a large batch of wax seals and store them for later use?
A: Make the seals on a non-stick surface such as this glue gun pad. You can also use a non-stick baking sheet, a coated muffin tray, or wax paper.
Use double-sided adhesive to apply your wax seal to your project when you need it. Easy and convenient!
Q: What types of material can I use my wax seal on?
A: You can use your wax seal directly on most paper products.
Paper with a heavy wax coating, such as vellum, might not adhere to the wax seal well. You can use a double-sided adhesive to apply your seal to this type of paper instead. You can also use double-sided adhesive to place your seals on various types of materials such as wood and glass.
Q: How can I change wax colors properly on my glue gun?
A: It takes around two to three sticks of the new wax color to flush out the previous color from your glue gun. You can also use two to three sticks of clear hot glue to push out one color before using a new one.
Injecting a new color without flushing out the old one will create a unique marbling effect of both colors.
For your convenience and to keep colors pure, you can opt to use different glue guns for different wax colors.
Q: Can the envelopes with wax seals be mailed via the post office?
A: Yes! Our glue gun wax is modern, flexible, and mailable.
Q: Can I use my wax seal stamp with other types of wax?
A: You can use all types of wax seals with your stamp. It works with the traditional sealing wax, bead wax, breakable wax, and our flexible and easy-to-use glue gun wax.
Q: Don't have a glue gun?
A: You can also melt the wax using a metal spoon over a candle.
