Iris's need a half day of full sun. Best transplanted in mid to late summer. Irises have rhizomes (fleshy roots) that should be partially exposed, or thinly covered with soil in hot climates. Dig a shallow hole about 4 inches deep, (refer to above for hot climate instructions). Make a ridge of soil down the middle and place the rhizome on the ridge, spreading roots down both sides. Fill the hole with soil and firm it gently. Water thoroughly. Not responsible for frost damages at the time of delivery
Please order If there is no chance of freezing weather in your area
If you purchase it I have to ship it out in one business day
Got the bulbs quickly, planted the same day & they seem to be doing well. The tops were strimmed down for shipping so there's just a couple inches of cut blades showing, but that part has stayed green so I think they are alive & well.
