This is our JOHN ADDRESS Style Desktop Embosser, which is customized with your name, initial, and address, or any other information you want. This embosser can be used on paper products, such as envelopes, stationery, invitations, napkins, and more!
WHAT IS AN EMBOSSER? An embosser is a tool that creates a raised image (without ink) on paper. Insert your paper between the embosser plates, press down on the embosser handle, and create a beautiful raised image. (Some of the sample photos show the design in black ink for viewing purposes only. The embosser will NOT use any ink.)
SIZE: The embosser will have a 1.625" embosser plate, and the actual embossing measures approx. 1.425" wide.
PROOF: This order includes a FREE digital PDF proof. See your exact design before it's made.
REACH: The embosser can reach approx. 1.5" from the edge of the paper to the center of the embossing plate.
PAPER WEIGHT: We only guarantee a good embossing on standard 24# text paper (weight of most letterhead and envelopes). Our embossers can be used on heavier paper, however the result varies a lot, depending on the design and weight of paper. Very simple designs without much text will work best on heavier paper. This design is NOT recommend for heavier paper.
ORIENTATION: This embosser will be set with BOTTOM orientation, which can be used to emboss along the bottom edge of the paper (including envelope flaps). The embosser plates do NOT rotate. If you want a different orientation (TOP, LEFT, or RIGHT), please request it when you place the order.
DESIGN & CHARACTER LIMITS: We will set up the design EXACTLY as shown, with the same fonts and capitalization. There are no limitations on characters, however it will look BEST with a maximum of 14 characters for the center text and 45 characters (including spaces) for the circular text.
ORDERING ~ After adding the item to your cart, in the "Note to WGPress" box specify... (1) The TEXT you want. (2) The ORIENTATION (only required if you want something other than BOTTOM orientation). (3) The EMAIL ADDRESS where you want us to email the PDF proof. (4) When checking out, please make sure the SHIPPING ADDRESS is correct.
AFTER YOU PLACE YOUR ORDER ~ (1) We will email a PDF proof to you within 24 hours (Mon-Fri). You can email back changes if you don't like how it looks. Otherwise, email back your approval. (2) We MUST receive your approval on the proof before we'll send your order into production.
PRODUCTION TIME & SHIPPING ~ (1) After proof approval, production time is 3-5 business days before your order ships. (2) Ships from Los Angeles, California. (3) Ships within UNITED STATES via USPS PRIORITY MAIL. (4) Ships to Canada via USPS FIRST CLASS or PRIORITY MAIL (depending on package weight).
Embossers and stamps have a 3-5 business day production time AFTER proof approval.
UNITED STATES Shipments: Ships by USPS PRIORITY MAIL. Transit time usually takes 1-3 business days, however it's not guaranteed and can take longer.
CANADA Shipments: Ships by USPS FIRST CLASS (or USPS PRIORITY MAIL for packages over 4 pounds). Transit time usually takes 6-10 business days, however it's not guaranteed and can take longer. *Customer is responsible for ALL potential customs/import fees imposed by Canada.*
Sales Tax: Orders shipping within California are subject to sales tax.
Cancellations Prior to Shipping: For personalized orders, such as embossers and stamps, cancellations with a full refund are only accepted BEFORE you approve the PDF proof. If you decide you want to cancel AFTER you have approved the proof (but before the item ships), you will only receive a partial refund. The refund amount will depend on what stage of production your item is in.

Additional return information
PERSONALIZED or CUSTOM Products (such as embossers and stamps): They are NOT returnable. If we are at fault for an error, we will replace the same item at no charge. You are responsible for verifying that all information on your proof is correct, so please double and triple check that the proof is accurate before you approve.
NON-PERSONALIZED Products (such as stickers): They are only returnable within 14 days after receipt of package. You must contact us BEFORE you return them. Shipping fees will not be refunded.
