This silk 'sweetheart' embroidered postcard, sent home to the UK from France during WW1, features the embroidered initials 'R.A.M.C.' for Royal Army Medical Corps. It forms a little envelope with the cap badge of the corps (depicting the Rod of Asclepius, surmounted by a crown, enclosed within a laurel wreath) and it's regimental motto 'In Arduis Fidelis' (Faithful in Adversity) being on the 'flap' which lifts up. The usual little preprinted card says 'Good Luck' in this example. To the reverse is inscribed 'Heaps of Love from Fred'. Some marks, stains and foxing to both sides.

Items are shipped once payment has been received. All goods are sent by Australia Post. Once shipped, please allow 3-7 business days for delivery in Australia, depending on your location.
We are not responsible for items lost or damaged by Australia Post, so if this is a concern you can request items to be sent via tracked/insured Mail. For all items over $50 this insurance will be mandatory in the postage price.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS YES! we ship internationally. All our items are sent via regular Air Mail, however we can ship via tracked/insured Air Mail (which is more expensive yet tracked). If you're interested in an alternative shipping/postage option, please let us know. For all items over $50 this tracked/insured service is mandatory.
As a guide, shipping internationally via Air Mail normally takes anywhere from 3-10 business days, depending on location.
COMBINED POSTAGE: Just start a 'convo' (an email via Etsy using the 'contact' button on each listing) and let us know which items you want to purchase and we can amend the listings to reflect the combined amount.
Where possible, we use recycled packaging materials for shipping - to be as green as we can! We use lots and lots of bubble wrap and foam packing peanuts for fragile items and are experienced at shipping all over the world safely.
All pricing in our store is in $AUD. Scullery Days Vintage accepts PayPal upon purchase of goods. If you do not have a PayPal account, you can still pay by credit card (via PayPal) at the checkout. For Australian customers only we offer direct bank transfer as a payment method in addition to Paypal. Scullery Days Vintage is happy to place a hold on items for strictly 48 hours only.
We do not charge GST at this time.

We do our best to describe and photograph all items accurately and the photographs form part of the item’s description.
Please keep in mind that our items are original antiques or vintage and of course show the signs of use, which gives them their unique character. As such they are offered in ‘as-is’ condition. Please contact us prior to purchase if you have any questions or concerns, or would like to see additional photos.
If all or part of an insured shipment has arrived damaged, you as the receiver must lodge the claim with Australia Post - we can provide you with the information required.
If you are not happy with your purchase, please let us know as soon as the item is received so we can work with you to resolve any concerns you have.
