This beautiful pattern is from the 1930's and is knitted in "Pearsall's Windsor' real silk. The tension / gauge is 17 stitches to 2 inches. According to the pattern this jumper is moderately easy to make.
The length of the centre front is 19.5 inches and it is 16 inches wide. You can alter the size by 2 inches by adding or subtracting 9 stitches in the front and back.
You will need to find a substitute yarn / silk. This pattern used 6 hanks of Pearsall's Windsor real silk in lemon. 4 Stratnoid double-pointed needles in size 12 (today's equivalent is 2.75mm) and 4 Stratnoid double-pointed needles in size 10 (today's equivalent of 3.25 mm).
