Item details

The Eimac 15R vacuum tube was first produced in 1940. It was used in the ASB-5 radar display unit. The ASB-5 was part of an airborne radar set used during World War II. The 15R is a high-voltage vacuum diode with a thoriated tungsten filament. These are new old stock manufactured in the 1940's and are in original boxes. This tube is inspectacular condition. The boxes have just a bit of shop wear and have a beautiful Eimac logo.
Overall length 2.75". Diameter 1.375" The third photo shows the 15R glowing. Only the low voltage filament need to connected for the tube to light.

Conditions of return
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

Preferential returns:
You can return any item that is not marked as "AS-IS" within seven (7) business days of receipt. Item must be in the condition it was shipped. You will receive a refund less the shipping cost to you. You must pay return shipping.

The one exception is digital downloads. There are NO returns on digital downloads.

I accept exchanges. You must pay shipping back to Leeds and shipping of new item to you.

Claims for damage:
Leeds has been shipping with the United States Postal Service for 18 years and shipped thousands and thousands of delicate electronic parts and fragile vacuum tubes. In that time we have had only ONE claim for damage.

In the extremely unlikely event that your item arrived damaged please contact me immediately. Save ALL packing.
