The inspirations behind this Feral Childe print include 1) Google Image Search results for "disappearing object phenomenon" 2) a 19th century style of printed kidskin Spanish gloves 3) A Trip to the Moon. Our hand-drawn grid based print features curiosities such as bumblebees, bears, levitating chairs, and optical instruments. We have some production yardage leftover for you to make your own projects!
This soft organic cotton/hemp/lycra woven fabric is a light tan color (we call it "sand") with a soft black allover print. We recommend this fabric for trousers or jackets, as well as your home decor projects. The fabric is a canvas cambric we have been using for several seasons and we find it soft yet sturdy.
Recommended care: hand wash cool, mild detergent or machine wash gentle cycle. Tumble dry low or hang dry. The fabric has been printed and dyed, so it ought to be pre-shrunk, but we recommend you do your own testing. Hemp blends have proven to be quite durable and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
Fabric is made with fibers from and milled in China. Printed in Los Angeles, dyed in Brooklyn.
Very interesting, linen-like texture and color. Great medium-weight fabric, and of course, with the most adorable print ever. This is one of my favorite Feral Childe prints, and I'm excited to have some yardage of it! I'll have to make something worthy of its awesomeness. Thank you!
