These lovely snowflakes and stars make fun Christmas tree ornaments, Hanukkah favors, Celtic knots, stocking stuffers, earrings and pendants. They'd also look great decorating packages this holiday season, or as party favors or hostess gifts for holiday parties or even a winter-themed wedding. Because they stitch up quickly, they're great as last minute presents, too.
I've even had one customer purchase this pattern in order to make favors for her winter-themed wedding!
Made primarily from size 11 seed beads, they are quick and easy to make with only a basic knowledge of bead weaving. Use crystals, pressed glass or larger seed beads as accents in the decorative bails (instructions included).
My step-by-step diagrams are for six-sided snowflakes, but the tutorial includes detailed information on adapting the pattern to make five or seven-sided stars as well. Since no two snowflakes are alike in nature, I’ve included lots of ideas, instructions and diagrams to jumpstart your creative process.
In this tutorial you will find:
* A list of materials required
* Sixteen pages of step-by-step instructions and pattern variations
* Full color images of a range of completed designs
* Detailed, color beading diagrams
I periodically update and/or add on to my patterns. These additions and updates are generally free to anyone who already owns the base pattern, and are announced in my email newsletter. (As a solo artist, I don't have the manpower to email everyone individually when I update a pattern).
One of my favorites, I love experimenting with this pattern, making earrings, Christmas tree ornaments, Hanukkah favors, Celtic knots and pendants galore.
