Item details

This shawl is made of a combination of Linked Double Crochet (LDC) and simple Mesh Stitch. I love linked stitches because they create a very solid fabric without the usual gaps seen with standard, 'unlinked' stitches. Also, you can use a much larger hook for the weight of thread/yarn you're using - such as is done with this shawl - and it still creates a solid fabric that is also much thinner (lighter and better drape) than would be I made of the same standard stitches.

Pattern includes instructions and pics on completing linked double crochets:)

Lace Weight (#0) yarn & H/8 (5 mm) hook (or size needed to obtain gauge)

Love love love this creative and fun pattern! My first one will be the same color as this is what attracted me to it in the first place, also the drape looks so soft...
