Our goal is to cover our shipping charges, but we have no intention of making a profit on them. Shipping cost is based on shipment from the west to east coast. If your actual shipping is less, we will refund the difference (if over $1). Or better yet, send me your zip code when you're interested in purchasing an item. I'll get back to you with an accurate shipping quote, and we can go from there :)

Items are shipped within three days of purchase, and because every vintage item is unique, we try to offer the most cost effective method of shipping based on size, weight, fragility and destination. The most common methods of shipping are via USPS First Class mail, and USPS Priority mail. Some larger packages must be sent by USPS Ground (which is slower) in order to keep costs reasonable for the buyer. In very rare circumstances, Fed Ex may be utilized.

Express shipping, Insurance, and Signature Requirement are available upon request. Additional costs for these requested services will be agreed upon by the buyer and Tricycle Vintage before purchase.

International shipping to limited destinations is also available on request (unless otherwise stated in listing) when arranged previous to purchase. My apologies to international customers, but I need a bit of time and experience to set clearer policies. I would rather examine these on a case by case basis for now than accidentally let any of you down.

All items are packed and shipped to the address listed on Etsy, unless otherwise stated. Please be certain that your shipping address on Etsy is correct. If you need delivery to an address other than this, please leave a message in "Notes to TricycleVintage" upon checkout. Unfortunately, if packages are returned to me, you will be responsible for the cost of re-shipping.

We currently accept payment through PayPal, Etsy Direct Checkout and Etsy Gift Cards. Payments are accepted in US Dollars.

Payment must be made in full and have cleared before the item is shipped.

Sales Tax: A sales tax of 8.7% will be applied to all sales in Washington State, USA. No sales tax is applied to purchases outside of Washington State. International customers do not need to pay a sales tax.

Returns & exchanges

Due to the unique and oftentimes fragile nature of items in the store (not to mention increasingly high shipping costs), we would like to avoid returns.

We are all human, however, so if you truly feel that the item was mislabeled, etc., please contact me and I will work with you to find a resolution that's satisfactory for us both. This request has only been made twice with us in over 3 years of sales, and in both situations, we came to a mutually agreeable solution. We want you to be happy with your purchase.

If anything is damaged during transit, it will be taken care of. Once again, just contact me and we'll work things out on an individual basis.

Additional policies

Chance are, this applies to no one who will take the time to read these policies, but, Tricycle Vintage reserves the right to refuse a sale to anyone with a history of abusive feedback and/or malicious behaviour towards other Etsy members.

Any questions at all? Please contact me, I will do my best to respond within 48 hours (probably sooner!).
