PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!!! THIS IS NOT A CLASS!!! This is not a graph. This is a written pattern which means, "No square counting for you :-)."
If you would like to learn how to transform portraits into crocheted acrylic works of art this is for you. The pattern sizes are 151 chains to start or 251 chains to start. These sizes are good for wall art, lapghans, or afghans for your favorite loved ones.
As you see in the pictures, the first picture is the original picture, the second my Our Savior piece when I was half way through, the third picture is when the piece was finished, and the 4th picture is of what my patterns look like. I have included these pictures for you to see how detailed my patterns are.
Pattern size is determined by which hook you use. If you would like to have a smaller piece, use a smaller hook. A bigger piece, use a bigger hook. There are 3 patterns for you to choose from.
Once your payment is submitted you are able to download a practice pattern and the purchased pattern. I suggest that you finish this pattern before attempting to try one of the listed pattern. If you know how to SC (Single Crochet) and change color you will be fine. You may email me a picture of the finished practice pattern once you finish so that I can check your work. Rest assure, this is not for a grade, I just want to make sure you are going in the right direction.
Learning this technique will help you create beautiful works of art for your friends and family, but also the means to earn a commission from potential clients who appreciate your work but do not have the time to do it.
For more information on how to get started with the practice pattern, you can go to youtube and look up, "How to Crochet Portraits with Derrian Did It" and you will find videos on how to execute the first page of the practice pattern.
