Soft and springy, this pure merino yarn was hand-dyed a delicate shade of dusty rose using elderberries from Claudia Quinta's garden. The wool was sourced from P&M Woolcraft and hand-spun using drop spindles and an antique spinning wheel. Photos of the making process can be found on the shop blog (e.g. http://lanifica.tumblr.com/post/101847507140/i-must-have-done-something-right-in-a-past-life).
Merino is a fussy beast to spin, but wonderful when plied! This was a very rewarding two-ply yarn to create and will make a fabulous craft project.
