Kay's Graceful Swirl Cookie Mold can be used for molding cookie dough, fondant, pound cake and slices of bread for tea sandwiches. It was originally commissioned in two sizes (by Kay :) ), a larger size of the same design is also available: (https://www.etsy.com/listing/214736717/kays-graceful-swirl-cookie-mold-large?).
The molds can also be used for making crafts like cast paper, salt dough and polymer clay for sculpture or to make and decorate holiday ornaments.
Each mold is individually hand made in my studio in Connecticut from my original sculpture. The clay molds are then high fired twice to create this food-safe, dishwasher safe, stoneware mold. Each mold is approximately 2.5 inches wide.
I recommend using a cookie dough recipe that is designed specifically for molded cookies, so that they won't flatten out when baking. You can find several at: http://zandapanda.com/recipes.asp
Or try this Xmas Spice Cookie Recipe on the ZANDA PANDA blog: http://zandapanda.wordpress.com/2012/11/27/cookies-for-santa-dont-forget-the-reindeer/ Drizzle white chocolate on the back of your cookies for a blissful holiday treat.
You can also find a video and a PDF with instructions on using your mold at: http://zandapanda.com/HalloweenStonewareCookieMolds.asp (It's demonstrated on my Halloween Cookie Molds, but the technique is the same).
