I have a collection of vintage door knobs that for some reason or another are deemed undesirable.
UNTIL … They are repurposed. Suddenly, they are back in the fast paced world as a functioning piece of home decor!
This chrome metal door knob has some wonderful rustic wear with age – tiny scratches mostly. It has been cleaned, but some rust remains giving it a great vintage patina. The three wooden beads are stationary and don't slide up and down the holder clasp. There is a waxed cord tied at the base and a wooden peg in the screw hole.
These have a variety of uses as you can imagine. Here are a few: 1) Business card holder 2) Restaurant notifications (specials, desserts) 3) Notifications (Welcome, Open/Closed, Out To Lunch)
This is a sturdy item. The holder clasp is secured tightly.
I have made custom orders of these in bulk, using a wide variety of vintage door knobs. If you are interested in a custom order (with or without beads) in any quantity, just convo me.
I get purchased items in the mail within one to two days through the U.S. Postal Service - standard mail delivery. Almost always, shipping occurs in one day.
I ship from coast to coast and refund shipping overages of more than $3.
I ship to the contiguous (love that word) United States - the 48 and sometimes beyond. Shipping costs outside of the 48 U.S. states to countries and territories vary widely. I do ship internationally, but it can be pricey. So, if you see something you want to purchase and live outside of the U.S., shoot me an email so I can check on shipping costs. I will get back with you in a timely fashion.
I except PayPal, credit card payments through Etsy's Direct Checkout and Etsy giftcards.
Returns & exchanges
I do not accept returns. Please look over the photos of each item well for an accurate visual description and read the text of each item carefully. Many of my items have some "wear with age." The antique/vintage items have been around for a while and have picked up some bumps and dings in their life. I try my best to describe any imperfections with the photos and text.
