The shipping costs on listings are for USPS Priority for larger items or First Class on other items in a Tyvex envelope and minimal packaging. If you don't want a package sitting on your front porch, I recommend having it shipped directly to your work. I will make special arrangements to ship multiple items. Items must be returned within 10 days of shipping date for full refund minus a 20 cent restocking fee. Refunds do not include original postage. When I touch something in my inventory, I always wonder what story it would tell me if it could talk! I make a significant effort to give accurate descriptions of the items including sizing, labels and any flaws. Sizing is based on actual measurements, not on sizing from the label as sizing is not the same as when it was originally sold. Most clothing from older eras were custom made or tailored and were more fitted as opposed to today's clothes that are mass produced. That means sleeves, bust lines and hips were generally tighter. Also, women wore girdles and slimming undergarments. Men's shirts were worn tighter than today too. Make sure you know your measurements and allow for undergarments and undershirts when looking at your items. Please read the descriptions completely BEFORE making your purchases. Seams, buttons and zippers are checked prior to shipping. But, sometimes these old eyes miss something so be sure to see the Refund Policy.
IF YOU ARE PURCHASING EYEGLASS FRAMES please note, that vintage frames oxidize over time and could possibly break when the lenses are removed. Therefore, it's a gamble they break when replacing the lenses. I've only had this happen once when I've done my own, but there is a chance. Also, my frames are always in very good condition with only minor wear and no rust.
