NB: This is a PDF pattern, not the finished product.
This PDF pattern contains written out instructions for making these crochet snowflakes in 3 different sizes. The pattern is suitable for anyone who knows the basic crochet stitches and is suitable for beginners and experienced crocheters alike. There are photos demonstrating the different stages of one of the snowflakes and a thorough description of how to block out the snowflakes once they are finished. The download includes a six-pointed template to use for pinning out. The pattern is in UK terms and there is a translation of UK to US terms at the beginning of the pattern.
The instructions are written out using 3-ply linen yarn from a shop here on Etsy, but they can be made with any yarn - though I would recommend not using yarn thicker than 4 ply. Photo number 5 shows the larger snowflake in 4 different yarns: (clockwise from top left) 4-ply cotton, 3-ply linen, 2-ply linen, Coats Aida 20. The last 2 are approximately the same size.
You are welcome to sell the snowflakes that you make with this pattern, but please mention where you got the pattern or post a link if you're selling online – thanks! You may not re-distribute or sell this pattern in any way. Please note that once you have downloaded this pattern it is non-refundable.
