Batik art fabric - Happy Lizards - quilters supply - fabric panel from my original batik
This image is from a batik by Carol and hails the love in this case of small creatures.
The colorful patterns on the lizards backs playfully represent the variation of natural patterns. The cheerful batik also shows below ground levels of the earth that I enjoy working with in my batik art. The bottom photo on the right shows me beginning to paint wax on the fabric with a tool called a tjanting. This tool has a brass bowl with a spout that is used to create wax lines that will resist the dye. Anyone loving the gentle creatures of this earth will love to own this cheerful fabric print.
The fabric, titled "Happy Lizards" measures 10" x 36" It is a mirror image. Also available as 10" x 16". Machine washable warm it is custom printed for me by Spoonflower and ships in a plastic sleeve and priority envelope with tracking information.
Also available as an 8" x 10" single swatch for $8.00 and in prints of many sizes. Please check my other listings or contact me for information.
The watermark will not appear on the print.
