This is a knit pattern that goes together very quickly, with US size 8 needles, and worsted weight yarn.
Front and back are knitted in one piece to the underarms, then the upper front and back shoulders are added. This sweater vest features a stockinette stripe. Armholes are edged with a garter stitch ribbing designed right into the pattern. You have to sew the 1-1/2" shoulder seams. The hood is knit flat, seamed down the back, and sewn to the neckline. It sounds a lot harder than it is!
This knit pattern is for a doll sweater. Basic knit knowledge is needed. Pattern uses knit, purl, bind off, cast on, make 1, k2tog, and p2tog.
It is a very easy pattern to follow. Fits American Girl, Fiber-craft, Springfield, Madame Alexander, Our Generation, Journey Girls and other similar sized 18" dolls.
