Smocked Top is a sewing pattern and instructions for making a smocked summer top designed to fit the 6.5 inch American Girl mini dolls. This pattern fits the old style mini dolls, the new hard bodied mini dolls, and the Target mini dolls as well!
This pattern contains pattern pieces and simple instructions, and is perfect for beginners as well as more experienced seamstresses. You do not need a serger to complete this pattern, just a basic home sewing machine. The pattern includes a multi-page illustrated instruction booklet, with detailed directions.
MATERIALS:
1/4 yard fabric or fabric scraps – cotton, cotton/poly blends, rayon, or other light weight fabrics *Not suitable for knits*

1.5” piece of 1/2" elastic

2" piece of 1/8" elastic

Matching or contrasting thread
