Hand painted hand dyed wool yarn blue, gold, green, violet 100g
The base yarn for this is 2 X 50g. skeins of 50% merino wool. 25% alpaca and 25% acrylic. The yarn is beautifully soft and squishy. It is a chunky Aran weight (see photo against 1 inch measure for accurate gauge).
I hand painted it in soft blues, pale lime, creamy yellow and a touch of violet - gorgeous subtle muted colours. The last picture was taken before the yarn was reskeined, to give an idea of the colour blocks.
2 x 50g skeins, totalling 100g.
