The Knee Wall Hidden Granite Bracket is our most popular granite bracket. The Knee Wall Hidden Granite Bracket is used primarily for raised bar tops where the granite extends more than 4” from the wall. The great thing about this granite bracket is that once installed they will be virtually invisible. It gives your new granite the appearance of floating.
Since these granite brackets mount flush to the top of a knee wall or pony wall, and to the bottom of your granite they will also not get in the way of your knees when you are seated at your bar like traditional wooden corbels do.

The Knee Wall Hidden Granite Bracket is simple and easy to install. Simply rout or chisel a 2 ½” wide by a ½” deep section at the top of your knee wall. This pocket will allow the granite bracket to sit flush with the top of the knee wall. Once the pocket is made in the top of the knee wall simply insert the granite bracket and attach it to the knee wall using the pre-drilled holes.
All of our granite brackets including the knee wall are made of ½” thick by 2 ½” wide American steel in black
Although we have standard sizes that we sell we also can make any length that you would need. We have a full custom fabrication shop and can build any granite bracket for your custom needs.
Brackets are actually sized in length tip to tip, therefore a 9″ bracket is 9 inches tip to tip.
How To Determine How May Brackets You Need:
When determining lengths stay away from outer edge by 3 inches and add the dimensions of the knee wall or pony wall also. For example: a 12 inch overhang and a 4 inch knee wall, minus 3 inches = 13 inch bracket.
We recommend spacing your brackets 20 inches apart for maximum protection for your granite.
Listing is for one bracket; hardware not included

Steel is a natural material. When welding it together some “pull” will naturally happen. As with all construction, there are no perfect lines or angles. Though we do everything we can to make sure the brackets are as perfect as they can be without compromising the integrity of the steel’s strength, some brackets may not be a perfect line, perfect angle or perfectly level. Therefore, as in most construction, you may have to shim when installing some of the brackets. Note: By purchasing our brackets, you agree to these terms and understanding.

Have a question? Our family has been in this industry for years. We owned a Kitchen and Bath Design Center and have owned a granite fabrication and installation business; plus been in construction of over 35 years. That is why we designed these brackets. All other steel brackets on the market are not strong enough. Ours are the strongest and the original! We have been imitated but not duplicated. We are here to help.
