65 days. Indeterminate with regular leaves on bushy and vigorous 4 foot vines. Fruits are elongated (4-5 inches long), bright red, and glossy and are set in clusters of 5-6. The flesh is a bit drier, but makes excellent paste or ketchup. Very high yields.
We recommend growing Sausage tomatoes in full sun. They do not require a pollinator in order to produce fruit. Planting and care instructions are included with each purchase.
These seeds were hand harvested from disease-free, organically-grown fruits grown in Shamrock, Wisconsin, during the summer and fall of 2017. Although we are not certified organic because our operation occurs at a residence rather than a large scale farm (per WI state law), we follow the same practices used by organic farmers on both our stock plants for sale and our own garden vegetables.
