Public Domain Books I Can Use: BOOK LIST: Pride and Prejudice Sense and Sensibility Persuasion Emma Mansfield Park Lady Susan Northanger Abbey Love and friendship Sandition The Watsons
I see them as decorations on tables on top of book piles or as party favors! I think they would look very nice on dinner plates as a favor for your guests. They would also look great in your home. I have lots of requests for these for book club parties too!
I offer my handmade luminary bags in 3 sizes. Mini, small and large. Large are closest to a traditional luminary bag size. Luminaries are used to line aisles and create pathways. They’re also used as table centerpieces for parties, events and weddings. My luminaries are safe and flameless. Since they are only recommended for use with fake battery operated led candles they are safe for wedding venues and homes.
None of my listings come with the led candles but I do sell them separately in my shop. You can find them inexpensive at local craft stores (michaels, joann fabrics, dollar tree) I recommend the tealite or votive size.
All of my luminaries only have cutouts on the front sides of the bags so keep this in mind when coming up with your décor plan. This is how luminaries are traditionally made. They illuminate much better this way, and visually look nicer when you don’t see through to the other side.
Mini are $10 each bag and approx. dimensions are 4”high, 3”wide, 1.5”deep handheld petit size Small are $15 each bag and approx. dimensions are 6-7”high, 4”wide, 2”deep Large are $20 each bag and approx. dimensions are 9”high, 6”wide, 2”deep (closest to a traditional luminary bag size)
If you’d like a custom package of various sizes feel free to message me, I would be happy to create a custom order for you. Since everything is handmade by me alone and made to order I have lead times. Thank you for your patience. Lead time on 1-2 bags is 2 weeks, lead time on 5-10 bags is 3 weeks, larger packages and wedding orders have a lead time of 2 months.

INTERNATIONAL International first class mail can take a few weeks or more 2-4 weeks generally due to customs depending on the country. Oldendesigns is not held responsible for any fees having to be paid by customer in their country of origin. All fees are paid on USA end that seller is responsible for. Customer responsible for any extra fees upon delivery in their country if their country charges them extra fees.
I accept Paypal & Direct Checkout through Etsy using your credit card. Payment is due at the time of purchase. Etsy gift cards also accepted. I do not do refunds or returns, all sales are final because all of my work is custom made.
Returns & exchanges
All sales are final. If there is a problem with your order please contact me immediately. Items are made using upcycled materials and due the nature of the materials they can be fragile so please handle with love and care. I do not do refunds or returns, once order is placed it is confirmed and processed and cannot be canceled. This is because with the nature of my work extra vintage supplies need to be ordered/purchased to work on specific luminary collections and supplies can get costly so I cannot cancel orders.
I only communicate via Etsy through email only. I do not make calls on my personal cell phone. I am happy to talk via emailing if you have questions regarding custom orders or an order you already placed. Thanks for understanding.

All of my luminaries only have cutouts on the front side of the bags. This is how luminaries are traditionally made because they illuminate better this way. When cutout on both sides they do not illuminate as well and you can see though to the other side. Visually, I do not like the look so I only do my cutouts on the front.
