Up for sale is an awesome little open source robotic arm! Just add 4 servos a handful of nuts and bolts, and an Arduino microcontroller and you have a functioning mini factory robotic arm!
Open source code is available for Arduino, Beaglebone Black, and Raspberry Pi.
Included in this sale are the high quality laser cut wood pieces that make up the working structure of the robotic arm and a list of links to the assembly instructions, example source code, and other resources to help you make the most of the meArm. Before laser cutting the arm, we cover the wood with a layer of protective masking tape so the wood doesn't get smoke damaged. You will need to supply your own 9 gram servos, Arduino or other controller, screws, and nuts, etc.
The material thickness is 1/8" Baltic birch plywood. Fully extended, from the back of the base to the tip of the clamp is about 13-1/2" long. At it's tallest point, the arm is about 6-1/2" tall and the clamp reaches a maximum of about 5-1/2" high. The width of the base is about 3-3/4" wide. The clamp is about 3-1/2" when open and about 1" wide when closed.
