I have three points that I price by:
1. Type of Material: I try to get my materials on sale, if possible. If I can, I can pass these good prices on to you. 2. Amount of Material: The bigger the item, the more material it takes; the smaller the item, the less material it takes. Items are priced accordingly. 3. Amount of Detail/Time: Although I don't have a specific price-per-hour I charge for labor, I do gauge prices by approximately how long and how detailed each item was to make.
Hardanger items should be washed in warm water using a mild soap. Rinse thoroughly. Squeeze the water from the fabric; DO NOT WRING. I usually wrap my hardanger in a terry cloth towel for about an hour, then unroll and iron. You can also just dry them flat. Iron with a hot iron until the item is as dry as you can get it. To protect my furniture, I leave the hardanger on my ironing board or over a drying rack for a couple hours to make sure it is completely dry before laying it on my wood furniture.
Huck toweling is 100% cotton. All toweling is prewashed and ironed prior to stitching to prevent shrinkage and distortion of the design. The towels are machine washable, bleachable and dryer safe. They are excellent for drying glassware and silverware as they don't leave lint. These towels will last for years.
I reserve the right to refuse a sale to anyone with a history of abusive feedback and/or malicious behavior towards other Etsy members.
If you have any questions about my items or policies, please do not hesitate to contact me.
