From Graser's series of scientific and agricultural study boards, a rare color lithograph (#12 in the series) measuring a large 26.5 H x 35.5 W depicting pear varieties by Prof. Dr. Raschkes. Lovely layout, cheery greens, yellows and reds, with all sorts of pears illustrated with great detail. Printed in Germany, circa 1920. The heavy cream paper is still bright, and the fruit colors vibrant. This would frame up very nicely. In PIC# 5, you can see a faint pink line in the top title. Perhaps it's a crayon mark --I did not attempt to clean it as it is pale enough to not detract from the chart. The folder remains in great condition with bright coloring. This has been stored very carefully! No odor, from a pet-free, smoke-free home.
This lithograph is folded as originally issued, hinged to the decorative heavy paper binder/booklet seen in PIC#1 and PIC# 2. All descriptive text of pear varieties is in German.
Imagine how attractive this lithograph would be framed in a kitchen or den! This would be a wonderful gift for a cook, an aspiring green-thumb, a botanist or collector of unusual charts.
