Black Opal Cabochon 10.1ct Fancy Cushion 15.07x17.01 Australia Triplet Lightning Ridge Material
This black opal triplet is stunning with wonderful color play.
That opal triplet was mined in Lightning Ridge Australia, and then purchased directly from the miner by a collector in Australia. This particular stone went from miner, to collector to my shop.
Opal is the birthstone for October. Opal triplets can safely be used for jewelry. When a thin slice of opal is found, rather than discarding it, it is backed by a black backing, and then topped with a clear layer, to still be able to utilize the thin slice of opal for jewelry.
Care: Because the triplet is held together by glue, jewelry made with this opal product should be worn with care, and prolonged exposure to water avoided. Do not soak or immerse in water!
I use USPS First Class insured with tracking typically, but am open to using UPS. FedEx is very restricted for me, and I tend to avoid it (I do not have a FedEx depot or store available in my town!)
International buyers must contact me prior to purchasing to work out shipping details.
I primarily use PayPal, but I have accepted money orders and checks in the past. In the event that those are the method of payment, the item will not be shipped until the money clears my bank. Paypal is able to use credit card funds.
Returns & exchanges
I do my best to photograph and describe items accurately. I accept returns for ready-made items, providing a full refund minus the cost of return shipping and insurance. I allow a 72 hour inspection period to determine that the item is as described and that returns be undamaged and unaltered.
Please ask any and all questions prior to purchase.
I require that items be returned to me via USPS First Class with insurance and tracking, but you MUST contact me for confirmation before attempting to return any items. Items sent without my prior authorization are not my responsibility, I will not accept them and will be entirely at your own risk.
Returns will be processed in 3-7 days to assess for damage and alteration.
Layaway: I accept layaway on items from my shop. Because these items are being removed from the market for an extended amount of time, items bought on layaway are final sale only.
I require all layaway items to be held with a $100 non-refundable deposit. In the event of a cancellation of a layaway item, the funds used for the layaway may be used for something else in my shop.
Custom: Custom items are final sale only. Because the custom process is so long and involved, with many hours of communication, drawings, CADs and waxes, there are many opportunities to change something before your item is created to your specifications.
