Item details

This replicated pattern is sized to fit a 36 inch bust.

Loose fitting cover up with long bell sleeves, can be made in a variety of fabrics taking you from casual to elegant. Has a cross over front which can be fastened to the desired point. See below for a review of this pattern (Thank you Motorharp):

"Instructions pretty easy to follow, with the caveat it's a vintage pattern and pattern publishers assumed a lot of prior sewing knowledge when writing the instructions for the home sewer. There are some parts that are skimmed over - for example, I'm still not entirely sure what they wanted you to do with the front facing if you're lining it. However, there are few pieces so it does go together quickly. I like the tassels on the sleeves and front collar - it gives the robe a nice weight. The sleeves are a little shorter than indicated on the pattern envelope. I would make them a few inches longer if I made this again. For my kimono, I used velvet for the body and silk charmeuse for the sleeves, collar and lining."

Deidre was wonderful. The USPS couldn’t find the address and returned the items. She stayed in contact and reshipped without charge.

Single patterns are shipped via USPS 1st Class Mail. When purchasing more than one pattern, due to weight restrictions, they are shipped via USPS Priority Mail. Every effort is made to ship within one business day of your cleared payment. A tracking number will be provided on all domestic shipments to check status of delivery.

I apologize for the USPS International pricing increase. These are not my fees but are determined by the postal system. Effective January 21, 2018, patterns previously sent at a lower "envelope" rate are now required to be sent at the "package" rate which is almost double the price. Only documents without a value may be sent at the envelope rate - patterns do not qualify. Tracking will still be provided for your parcel, however, once shipped, I cannot be accountable for delivery times and delays at your local customs office, nor am I responsible for your local taxes/VAT fees.

NOTE: INTERNATIONAL ORDERS ARE LIMITED TO 6 PATTERNS

Although Etsy is a new venue for us, the Vintage Pattern Lending Library has been in business since 1998. Purchase with confidence!
