SPECIAL MESSAGE TO MY Custom Stencil CUSTOMERS....

I have many customers request custom stencils from me because they have an idea and want me to transform that idea into a stencil. Most often it is from them seeing a similar design somewhere else.

In an effort to keep my pricing for custom stencils reasonable, I do not charge an additional fee for custom stencil designing.

If you own the rights to your artwork those rights will remain yours alone, as well as the stencil I create for you. A good example would be a company logo.

However, if I am the designer of a stencil design that is not owned, I then own the creative rights to them and do not pass those rights solely onto the customer who requested them. Oftentimes there are design details that may be within a custom stencil design that I also sell separately in other stencils.

I hope this helps customers to understand that although I am happy to design a stencil ( and oftentimes spend 4-8 hrs. doing so).... I choose to retain the rights to those designs and If I feel they can be used in our store I will create an ad and hope that I can re-coop the time it took me to design it through future sales.

I reserve the right to list those stencils on my Etsy and web site.
