Pretty paper hearts, hand punched floral paper heart confetti/table scatter decoration or for use in scrapbooking or journaling.
These hearts have been up cycled from a discarded copy of the Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady. The gorgeous book written and illustrated by Edith Holden in1906 as a Nature Diary. It is full of beautiful illustrations of the English Countryside.
I have used larger portions of the pages to make my Country Diary Bunting, and it seems a shame to waste what is left, so these little paper hearts are the result.
Use them a few at a time added to Birthday or other Greetings Cards, as a table decoration for a Wedding or Birthday Party, or as traditional Confetti. They can also be used as a craft embellishment for Scrapbooking or Collage.
Please note that if you wish to use your confetti traditionally I recommend you order the larger quantity.
As you will see from the photographs, some hearts will have Edith's writing on one side, but they will have floral or foliage designs on the other side. The writing itself is also strangely decorative, I think.
The hearts measure a little under 1" at their widest point.
The hearts will be sent in a clear, labelled cellophane sleeve as seen in picture five.
