Item details

English Lavender
heirloom variety lavandula angustifolia
120+ Days

Known as the most fragrant of all well known lavender varieties and the richest in essential oils. Evergreen blue foliage of lance shaped leaves and spires of purple flowers during early summer. Again in Fall if cut back, in some areas. An excellent choice for the cutting garden as well as for culinary creations. My favorite being Lavender Lemon Scones. 24" plus in height. USDA Zone 6-9
Start seeds indoors 8 weeks prior to transplanting out. Can be direct sown as well.
Germination time of 14-21 days. Perennials generally take 120 days plus from seed to bloom.

50-75 seeds

**These photos were taken at Earthbound Farms in Carmel, California. A perfect farm atmosphere where you can eat lunch in their lavender garden, browse through their herb garden where you can pick your own herbs, pick up some goodies in their local market, and take in the vast views of picturesque mountains with greens crops perfectly planted below. There's nothing quite like it!

We do our best to ensure your order's safe and timely arrival. I can always provide proof that your order was shipped and the manner of which it was shipped. Due to large volume of sales during the growing season, I cannot always automatically provide a tracking number on United States orders. It is just too time consuming. I will however gladly send that info. along to you upon request within 48 hours. Sooner if time allows.
As far as International packages, the USPS does not offer a reasonably priced tracking system for those packages so you are ordering at your own risk. I can prove I send your package, I cannot guarantee they will make it to you through your countries customs. In the event that your order does not arrive, I will gladly refund the purchase price of the seeds, but not the actual shipping charges. PLEASE check your countries own policies on bringing foreign seeds into your homeland. There are countries that do not allow seeds and plants in.

***SHIPPING TO WORK ADDRESSES: I prefer not to ship to a person;s work address as more times than not, the packages are returned to me as undeliverable. If a package is returned to me from a work address or an old address you forgot to change, I will kindly ask you to cover the additional charges of re-sending your package.

Taxes are included. If there is a delay in your payment such as an echeck, we will hold your order until said payment has been cleared.
We prefer Credit Card and Paypal as to process your order without delay.

**If we sell out of something you order, we will notify you as soon as the issue is detected. I may even make a comparable suggestion, a favorite variety of mine. Never a variety I think may not be suitable to your area or of lesser quality. We will give you the option of choosing something else or obtaining a refund. If we do not hear back from you within 48 hours we will issue the refund and send the remainder your order.

Returns & exchanges

Seeds are living organisms and therefore no returns are accepted. If you purchase something from me other than seeds I will gladly refund within 2 weeks of purchase date, if item is returned in like new condition.
