Published in 1930 this simple beret and scarf set uses both crochet and knitting skills.
The beret or "tam o' shanter is crocheted in Anchor iridescent cotton, and the scarf to match is knitted. The scarf has a moss stitch border.
Little information was given in the early 20's and 30's so although a simple pattern some skill may be needed to achieve the correct sizes.
NOTE: This pattern and many others can be found published in my e-book " An invitation to crochet 1930's hats", which can be located in my Etsy store if you wish to select a number of 1930's crochet hat and accessory patterns as this may be preferable.
The pattern is delivered to you as an instant download in a pdf format to ensure fast delivery to allow you to start your crochet.
I have included a free crochet and knitting conversion chart should you need help to re-size the hooks etc and determine the size of thread.
Your files will be available to download once payment is confirmed. Here's how.
Many patterns are now available as Instant Downloads. For the email patterns these are sent as soon as possible allowing for the difference in time zones - usually within 24 hours - as soon as your payment has been cleared. I only accept Paypal - thank you.
Returns & exchanges
Due to the nature of sending a pattern by email - I cannot accept a return. However I am always open to discussion and will offer good customer service. I have NEVER let anyone down and to date every person has received their pattern.
I am always happy to try to help you in your project... be it stitch pattern, yarn help, sewing advice or any other problem you encounter with one of my patterns.
