"A-tisket a-tasket A green and yellow basket I wrote a letter to my love And on the way I dropped it, I dropped it, I dropped it, And on the way I dropped it. A little girl, she picked it up And put it in her pocket."
Who doesn't remember this Nursery Rhyme?
This is the pattern for crocheting this pretty cuff bracelet. It's a basket weave just waiting to be madeup for spring! Make it up in black and dark tones for a more steampunk or goth . Make it up in naturals for lagenlook, boho or prairie chic!
The pattern is written for a basic cotton crochet cotton (ie. DMC Perle Cotton - Size 5 which you can purchase anywhere! It will upsize or downsize pretty well with just a change in number of chained foundation stitches. The aqua colored version was done in a wool thread (lace weight?) and it looks beautiful!
The instructions have been tested by other crochet crafters but if you find any errors or if you have any comments about the pattern, please contact me!
