Item details

Here are two navy blue cardboard canisters with metal ends that house 5 yards long 12 inches wide of Bay's Moleskin Adhesive tape.
The canisters have white paper labels that say -- 12 inches wide 5 yards long U.S.P. Heavy White Parke Davis & Co. Detroit Michigan.
Bay's Moleskin Adhesive tape is traditionally used for medical supplies as wound protection.

In film movie production, Moleskin is commonly used for lavalier mic adhesion and other wardrobe applications. Moleskin has countless uses on any set. It is commonly used to attach lavalier microphones to someone's clothing or directly to their skin. It can also be used on the heels of shoes to dampen the sound as someone walks across a hard floor.

This Moleskin is vintage, so I don't know how well the adhesive will hold, but it is in good condition, the gauze is gauzy and the other side of the gauzy fabric has a super soft felt backing.
On can probably hasn't been opened and or used, the other can is missing the lid. I would guess that the role are still 5 yards long, but I haven't measured them.

i could see this fabric being used in project runway type fashion or in collage, assemblage sculpture or as mixed media supplies
