Item details

Here are three pieces of vintage Holly Hobby fabric dating from the 1970's. The pattern includes four different adorable Holly Hobby girls. The predominant colors are green, orange, blue and gold on a white background. You can see the American Greetings logo printed along the selvage edge. This fabric is a very lightweight cotton; my 4th photo shows a piece at the window so that you can see how it lets the light through.

Two of the pieces appear to have been made into a curtain and valence. All the machine stitching was done in green. There are no holes or tears in the fabric; I have both soaked and washed all the pieces. Lots of cute fabric here; close to 2 yards all together. The details ...

Piece 1 - 43" wide by 19 and 1/2" There is a 1/4" machine stitched hem on the lower long edge, a raw edge on top, and selvage edges on the sides.

Piece 2 - 43" wide by 14 and 1/2" This is the valence piece; there is a 1" machine stitched hem on the lower long edge, a 2 and 1/4" machine stitched hem on top, and selvage edges on the sides.

Piece 3 - 43" wide by 36" This is the curtain piece; there is a 3/8" hand (blind) stitched hem on the lower long edge, a 1 and 5/8" machine stitched hem on top, and selvage edges on the sides. About 12" of the hand stitched hem has come out. This piece appears to be slightly faded and a bit yellowed near the center from having spent time hanging in the window.

Please note that Etsy's "shipping calculator" does not yet calculate a shipping cost for YOU based on YOUR zip code. Everyone still sees the same estimated shipping cost ~ please be assured that I will promptly refund any difference over $1.00 between my estimate and your actual shipping charges.

My goal is to ship promptly and safely. I will make every effort to have your package shipped within 3 days of receipt of your payment. Please be sure that your PayPal mailing address is correct; let me know when you make your purchase if you have a different mailing address.

Generally speaking, I ship via USPS Priority Mail which includes delivery tracking and insurance up to $50. However, depending on the size / weight of the package and your location, I might choose USPS Standard Shipping, which also includes delivery tracking. This helps keep your shipping costs reasonable. I will always let you know which method I have chosen in your Shipping Notification and provide the Post Office's estimated arrival date.

I pack my items carefully ~ plenty of tissue, packing peanuts, and bubble wrap! I use both new and clean recycled packing materials. I cannot be held responsible for an item that is lost or damaged once it leaves my hands. If you would like insurance, please let me know and I will add that cost to your invoice. If you purchased insurance and your item arrives in damaged condition, please get in touch with me immediately and please save the box and all packing material.

I am happy to combine purchases to save on shipping costs whenever possible.

If the actual shipping cost is less than what you paid, I will promptly refund the difference through Paypal for any amount $1 or more.

I only accept Paypal at this time, along with payment by credit card through Paypal. I would appreciate your immediate payment when purchasing, but realize this is not always possible. I do expect your payment within three days though; otherwise the sale may be cancelled unless I have heard from you.

Returns & exchanges

I try my very best to describe items in a detailed way, including their imperfections such as tiny holes or little chips - really anything that I feel is pertinent to your decision. However, I hope you understand that with vintage items, it's possible that some small flaw was overlooked and that you are accepting of the features that in fact give vintage items their enduring character. Please read the descriptions carefully AND look at the pictures, convo me with questions, and ask for additional photos if you like.

Generally speaking, I do not accept returns or issue refunds. That said, it is important to me that you are absolutely happy with your purchase! If there is a problem, please do get in touch with me and we'll work towards a solution.
