Item details

This hide is from a newer breed of rabbit called the Cinnamon, developed in 1962 in Montana. It is primarily a meat breed, but with a very unusual and beautiful colored fur. It is shaded reds with grays and darker shadings on the feet, tail, ears and along both sides of the jaw line. I have pictured front and back of the hide, and this one does have the front feet attached, as well as the tail: 'beads' that can be used as accents in various finished items. Others are tanned with out that, so please specify if you would like them removed.
These hides have been tanned in a 'tube' rather than being cut down the middle and opened flat. That also gives more versatility to the end use. One could make a bag with no seams, or line a muff to keep your hands warm, etc. Or, you can cut it open if you need it to lie flat ~ your choice!

This is high quality fur and leather just waiting for your inspiration. It was tanned garment quality by a family owned tannery in the USA. We try to make use of all the parts, so that nothing is wasted, and fur this pretty should not be wasted!.
If you live in a country not listed, let me know and I will figure out the shipping cost to your country.
Price is per each.
