After teaching kindergarten for many years, I have to say that dinosaurs was always one of the favorite lessons for little boys. I remember one year I had a student named Kyle who loved dinosaurs so much he said when he grew up he was going to be a paleontologist. He always signed his name Kyle Stegosaurus. Of course I wanted him to learn how to write his last name but he insisted that it was Kyle Stegosaurus so I finally gave in and let him sign his name as Kyle Stegosaurus! There is just something magical about dinosaurs and my new dinosaur quilt pattern reflects this with a little boy sleeping in his bed dreaming about dinosaurs. The little boy is in the center of the quilt with five different dinosaurs on clouds around his bed.
I designed this pattern as a crib or twin size quilt. The overall size of the crib quilt is 42" x 60" and the twin quilt measures 65" x 83". The patterns are fun and easy to make using fusible web applique. If your not familiar with fusible web, you can watch a video on my website www.kindergarden designs.com.
