Item details

I try to charge a reasonable shipping amount to these items. If you feel it is too high please contact me. Sometimes multiple items goof up the total shipping plus handling. I'll always make it right when you ask.

A unique One-of-a-Kind cut eggshell to start your Easter creations is offered here. I start with a clean empty goose egg and draw a design fitted for that shell. Then the cutting begins, I use a dental drill to do this type of cutting, same awful whirring noise.

I coat the inside with resin to make the egg stronger and paint the outside with a white primer. It is now ready for you to decorate. Anything small enough to fit into the 1 3/4" opening would work. How about tiny artificial flowers or a china figurine. You can cut a circle from matboard for a floor. I left the two sides with blank areas so you can write a message such as "Happy Easter" or "Happy Birthday" in your own handwriting.

The egg is 9 1/8" around the long way. That's bigger than a chicken egg but not huge. It will come to you in a white gift box with lots of tissue packing.

All my eggs have been in an incubator and proved to be infertile. This is a recycled material art. No baby goose was killed for the sake of art.

The last picture is what I have done with one of these goose eggs. A piece of pretty paper cut into shapes and outlined with gold cord, pearls and paint makes a truly One-of-a-Kind gift. This finished sample is not for sale.

I cut these eggs daily so most of the time I already have you item ready and can ship within a day. If you order lots of one item I will email you with an estimate of how long before it is ready. I will ship USPS since they seem to be the most careful with delicate items like eggshells. I always insure the item (my expense) for domestic packages. Overseas shipments will go Air Mail and I will ship worldwide but you have to pay for the additional shipping costs and insurance. I will send you an email soon as I ship, within a day or two, and give you tracking number and estimated arrival date.

I describe the item as clearly as possible and include plenty of pictures. Please be certain you want the item before purchasing it. Ask me lots of questions, I'll do my very best to answer all questions so you fully understand what you are thinking of buying.

Please contact me within three days of receiving your item if there is a problem. I want to try to make your purchase experience a good one and want to resolve any problem immediately. I will also include the PayPal packing form.

International orders: I keep receipts from the Post Office to prove I did ship your package. If a package does not arrive and you have not purchased insurance, I am not responsible for refunds. Please ask for registered mail insurance to avoid problems.

I have over the years learned the best ways to pack these items and will always do the very best I can to get your item to you in one piece.

Purchase price will be refunded when the item is returned. I ask you to pay the return shipping and insurance. Please be careful packing returning item in the same way I packed it for you.. No refunds or exchanges after 60 days though.
